Miami-Dade Sees 620 New Cases Of Coronavirus, 15 More Deaths

The Florida Department of Health reported 620 new cases of the coronavirus Tuesday, bringing the cumulative total number of cases to 170,086

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL – The Florida Department of Health reported 620 new cases of the coronavirus on Tuesday, bringing the cumulative total number of cases in the county to 170,086.

The health department also reported 15 new coronavirus-related deaths, bringing the cumulative number of coronavirus-related deaths to 3,243. The total number of hospitalizations are currently at 7,775, with 41 non-residents hospitalized.

According to the data, the median age for positive cases in the county is 42, with 49 percent of cases in male patients and 51 percent of cases in female patients.

Statewide, the health department reported 704,568 coronavirus cases on Tuesday, with 43,855 resident hospitalizations. To date, there have been 14,143 resident deaths and 170 non-resident deaths, according to the data.
