Miami Mom Tried To Hire A Hitman To Kill Her 3-Year-Old Son

MIAMI, FL — A Miami mother used a parody website to try to hire a hitman to kill her 3-year-old son, according to multiple reports.

Jazmin Paez, 18, faces charges after using the website RentAHitman.com to inquire about having her toddler killed by the end of the week. She was charged with solicitation of murder and unlawful use of a communications device, ABC News reported.

Using a fake name for her “service request” through the website, she said she wanted her son killed “to get something done once and for all,” according to Local 10 News. She asked that the boy “be taken away, far, far, far away and possibly be killed but ASAP.”

The website receives hundreds of similar requests each week, owner Robert Innes told NBC6 Miami.

Paez’s request was more specific than most, though, and included a picture of the boy and information about where he would be, Innes said. She also agreed to pay $3,000 to have her son killed.

“She was in a hurry to get this done,” he told the Miami Herald.

After he contacted the Miami-Dade Police Department, a detective texted Paez pretending to be a hired hitman, reports said.

When she was arrested Tuesday night, she told police she wanted to have the boy killed as revenge on her ex-boyfriend, who broke up with her for having the child.

The boy was living with his grandmother at the time Paez requested the hit on him, CBS News reported.
