Da'Marcus Fleming is a scholar athlete who has maintained a GPA of 3.3 throughout his four years of high school. He has remained humble while playing football and running track all four years. He is a team player and never complained when he was called to perform as a starter or backup.

In track, he represented Team USA in Cuba as a sprinter in the 100, 200 and the 4x100 relay.
He has also broken several records in the state of Florida and is fastest kid in Florida. He holds the State Championship in the 100, 200 and the 4x100.

Throughout school, Da’Marcus has proven to be a true champion both academically and athletically.

Marcus Fleming

Marcus Fleming grew up in Coconut Grove in a house full of siblings, cousins, aunts and his mother. In fact, Marcus is happy to say that he did enjoy his childhood where football played a big part. He has been a successful football player through his entire high school life, and he helped his team win a state championship.

He credits his discipline as a student and his skills as a football player to his grandmother. She would call him constantly and would even get him a trainer. Marcus is happy to be on his way to play football at the University of Nebraska. He hopes to be drafted to the pros in the first round and to then be able to help his mom financially.

Stephanie Jobe

Stephanie Jobe and her sister Jada Jobe were raised by their aunt, Barbara Williams, in Coconut Grove. Unfortunately, Ms. Williams passed away, leaving the girls without a permanent home. With support from Miami Northwestern Senior High, Stephanie found a place to stay temporarily with an older sister. Her housing became unstable again, but soon after, the court system placed her with one of the school's assistant coaches. This gave her more stability, where she was able to become more focused. Stephanie became a good student athlete, improved her grades and excelled in track and field. Stephanie earned a full athletic scholarship to South Carolina State University.

In an effort to ensure that the Class of 2020 graduates at Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) receive the pomp and circumstance they deserve, the District is holding virtual graduation ceremonies for each high school. The live streaming of each virtual graduation, as well as a schedule of ceremonies and a video archive can be accessed by visiting Classof2020.dadeschools.net. The ceremonies are also televised on WLRN Channel 17.

The virtual commencement ceremonies will be followed by an in-person Class of 2020 celebration at each high school either in the summer or winter, once it is safe to do so under public health guidelines.

In addition to the virtual ceremonies, the District has launched a marketing campaign to highlight outstanding seniors, and invite the community to celebrate graduates on social media using the following hashtags: #MDCPSGrad, #Classof2020, #MeetMDCPSGrads and #SeniorSpotlight.
