Miami Police Search For Teen's Killer
Malcolm E. Nicholas III was gunned down in the Overtown section of Miami.

MIAMI, FL — Miami police are asking for the public's help in finding the person who gunned down an 18-year-old athlete on Sunday. Malcolm E. Nicholas III later died of his injuries. Police say they are still trying to piece together what led to the shooting.
"Our detectives were in the community distributing fliers," Officer Christopher Bess of the Miami Police Department told Patch.
Meanwhile the Miami area high school basketball community reacted to Nicholas' death on social media.

Nicholas was shot in the Overtown section of Miami at Northwest 5th Avenue and Northwest 17th Street, according to Miami police.

He was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center, where he was pronounced dead.
