MIAMI, FL — A passenger on a plane that had just arrived from Colombia opened its emergency door and jumped onto a wing not long after it touched down at Miami International Airport on Wednesday.

Christian Segura, a 33-year-old American citizen, jumped onto the wing just after 7 p.m. as American Airlines Flight 920 was pulling into its gate, Local News 10 reported.

When authorities responded to the gate, Segura jumped from the wing, according to reports. He was detained by U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents before being transferred into the custody of the Miami-Dade Police Department, reports said.
