Rapper Lil Wayne Faces Federal Gun Charges In Miami: Report
Lil Wayne was charged with possessing a firearm as a felon after a gun was found on his private plane in December, reports said.

MIAMI, FL — Rapper Lil Wayne is facing federal charges in Miami for possession of a firearm and ammunition as a convicted felon, the Miami Herald reported.
The charges come from his December holiday visit to South Florida, where he owns a home in Miami Beach. Authorities found a weapon on his private jet while searching it.
Lil Wayne will appear in federal court in Miami on Dec. 11. If convicted of the charge, he faces up to 10 years in prison.

He spent eight months in prison at Rikers Island from 2009 to 2010 for a felony gun charge in New York, according to Rolling Stone. As a felon, he’s not allowed to have or use a gun.
Authorities said that Lil Wayne appeared high during a search of his private jet in December. He admitted to owning a gold-plated luggage they found in his luggage on board.
