Super Bowl Cocktail Recipes From Carnival Cruise Lines

MIAMI — Carnival Cruise Lines wants to bring a little bit of the Caribbean to everyone's Super Bowl party on Sunday with two specialty cocktail recipes in honor of the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons.

Mixologists at the Miami-based company unveiled their Super Bowl LI creations on Friday ahead of the big game. Naturally, the libations have been dubbed The Falcon and The Patriot.

Inspired by the NFC and AFC championship squads, The Falcon includes Tito's Vodka, Blue Curacao and pineapple juice while The Patriot is made with Bacardi Limon, cranberry juice and orange juice.

"Carnival has a number of fun activities planned for this year’s big game, including special trivia contests, and a 'sailgate' party with fun games and music," according to the cruise line.

Here's how to make the cocktails at your Super Bowl party:

The Falcon

Ingredients:
1½ ounces of Tito’s Vodka
1 ounce of Blue Curaçao
3 ounces of pineapple juice

Instructions:

In a mixing cup with ice, pour all of the ingredients and shake for at least five seconds. Strain the mixture into a glass with fresh ice and garnish with a lime wedge and maraschino cherry.

The Patriot

Ingredients:
1½ ounces of Bacardi Limon
2½ ounces of cranberry juice
½ ounce of orange juice

Instructions:

In a mixing cup with ice, pour all ingredients and shake for at least five seconds. Strain the cocktail into a glass with fresh ice and garnish with a pineapple wedge and maraschino cherry.
