Distinguished Thoracic Surgeon and Prominent Senior Executive Honored at Upcoming Lung Association's Sunset Soiree

Today, the American Lung Association in South Florida announced that Dr. Francisco Tarrazzi and Andrea Eastaugh, will be honored as the LUNG FORCE Distinguished Physician Award recipient and the LUNG FORCE Legacy Award recipient respectively at the Sunset Soiree on June 4.
“The challenges that we have faced over the past year have truly underscored the critical importance of our healthcare workers and our lung health. Dr. Tarrazzi, a thoracic surgeon at the Memorial Healthcare System, has been on the front lines of treating people with lung diseases and the esophagus during a respiratory pandemic, where he provided hope, support, and outstanding patient care," said Lori Adelson, Esq., of HR Law Pro and the Sunset Soiree Co-Chair and owner of HRLaw Pro. "We are honored to recognize Dr. Tarrazzi for his steadfast commitment to helping so many community members battling lung disease during this arduous time."
Every time a new patient comes into his office, they immediately become part of their practice. “Our job is to make every patient feel welcome, comfortable, safe, and secure, and that they have all the information and support they need to be at their best. We strongly believe that when a patient is diagnosed with a disease, especially cancer, it can be life-altering. We make certain that our patients are fully supported throughout the process from diagnosis to treatment to recovery. And at Memorial, we promise to do everything in our power to provide the best care for every one of our patients,” proudly remarks Dr. Tarrazzi.
