Miami City Hall is operating on a holiday schedule for Thanksgiving week but officials said that trash will be picked up as usual.

MIAMI, FL — City offices will be operating on a holiday schedule during Thanksgiving week. Officials said that trash will be picked up as usual. Here is the schedule:

Thursday, Nov. 23 (Thanksgiving)

  • Miami City Hall will be closed.
  • All Miami-Dade schools will be closed.
  • Trash will be picked up as usual in the city.

Friday, Nov. 24

Miami City Hall is located at 3500 Pan American Drive.

Officials said that the city's Department of Solid Waste will be conduct regularly-scheduled garbage, bulky trash and recycle pick ups on both Thursday and Friday.

"Residents whose garbage, bulky trash and recycle are always collected on Thursday or Friday should place their items out as they usually do," according to city officials.
