Two Arrested In Fatal Shooting Of Miami Pastor

MIAMI, FL — After more than a month of investigating the death of Pastor Gregory Boyd, who was killed outside the Village Flea Market and Mall Sept. 10, police arrested two people in connection with the shooting on Thursday.

Latravia Charm Bell, 20, and Nathaniel Bernard Roberson, 31, have both been charged with first-degree murder with a deadly weapon, the Miami-Dade Police Department said in a news release. Bell was also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Police say they're still looking for a third suspect, 20-year-old Mikal Nelson Norman.

According to arrest reports, Bell, Roberson and Norman "ambushed" four individuals in the parking lot of the flea market, which is located at the intersection of 27th Avenue and 79th Street, on Sept. 10 and fired into the crowd. Boyd, who was not the intended target, was hit by a bullet about 6:05 p.m. as he walked to his car. He was brought to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center, where he later died of his injuries.
