VIDEO: Man Invades Home, Beats Woman, Steals Car, Police Say

Police are asking the public's help finding the man in the video they say beat a woman in her home and stole her car.

WEST MIAMI-DADE, FL — Miami-Dade police are asking the public's help in identifying a man involved in an armed home invasion robbery, they said in a tweet. The man is accused of attacking a woman in her home, tying her up and stealing her car.

The robbery was around 59 NW 109 Place, police say. WSVN reported the victim got home to find the unknown man in her bedroom. She tried to get out, but the man began to punch and choke her, the outlet reported.

He then tied her to a dresser in the bedroom, and drove off in the victim's silver or white 2015 Toyota 4Runner.

Police released a surveillance video from the victim's house of the suspect getting into her car and driving off. The victim's daughter said he stole jewelry, cash and a computer, according to WSVN.
