Winn-Dixie Recalls Italian-Style Panko Breadcrumbs
Winn-Dixie has issued a voluntary recall of its store-brand Italian-Style Panko Breadcrumbs after undeclared allergens were discovered.

MIAMI, FL — Consumers are being urged not to use their Winn-Dixie brand Italian-Style Panko Breadcrumbs after undeclared allergens were discovered in the product. In issuing the voluntary recall on Thursday, parent company Southeastern Grocers said the affected bread crumbs were sold in Winn-Dixie stores in Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, and Louisiana. They were also sold in Fresco y Más stores in Florida.
The recalled packages have “best before” dates of 08/18/2018 and 10/18/2018. The UPC code for this product is: - 2114000774 (8 ounce. package). (Sign up for our free Daily Newsletters and Breaking News Alerts for the Miami Patch.)
"The product should be thrown away or returned to any Winn-Dixie or Fresco y Más store for a full refund," said Southeastern Grocers, which operates BI-LO, Fresco y Más, Harveys and Winn-Dixie stores.

Customers with questions about the recalled products may call the Southeastern Grocers Customer Call Center at 866-946-6349 on Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. eastern and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. eastern.
