Woman Critically Injured In Stabbing At Miami Airport: Reports
The attack occurred on the fourth floor of Terminal J at Miami International Airport Saturday night, reports say.
MIAMI, FL — A male suspect has been taken into custody after a woman was critically injured in a stabbing at Miami International Airport Saturday night, according to multiple reports.
The attack occurred around 11:30 p.m. on the fourth floor of Terminal J, where the man "attacked the victim by stabbing her multiple times and attempted to throw her over the railing," the Miami-Dade Police Department said in a news release obtained by CNN.
"The victim was able to escape the attack and ran down the stairs to the 3rd floor level, which is where the officers found her," police added.

The alleged stabber, Alexander Love, is facing an attempted murder charge, NBC Miami reported. It is not known whether Love and the victim knew each other, though at least one witness described hearing an argument before the stabbing occurred, according to the outlet.
Patch reached out to the Miami-Dade Police Department for more information, including on the woman's condition as of Monday.
