1. Movie Night at SoundScape Park

Grab a blanket or a lawn chair, some snacks and beverages and head to the SoundScape Park for free movies under the stars. The films shown in this series range from those perfect for the kids, like Shrek to Oscar winners, like Past Lives.

2. Legion Park Farmers Market
When: Saturdays, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Where: 6601 Biscayne Blvd., Miami
A short drive down the road you’ll find fresh food finds at this farmers market, part of the Urban Oasis Project. The market offers local produce, tasty bites and artisanal products, such as handcrafted soaps and fermented goods.

3. Miami Beach Pride Festival & Parade
When: April 11 - 12, noon
Where: Lummus Park, 1130 Ocean Drive, Miami Beach
The Miami Beach Pride Festival & Parade is one of the largest celebrations of its kind in the world. Show up and show out at this event, which includes music, entertainment, community and just a fabulously fun time. And everyone loves a parade, so be there at noon on April 12.

4. Hyundai Air & Sea Show
When: May 23 - 24, noon - 5 p.m.
Where: At the Florida Power & Light Display Village, between 11th and 15th Streets, next to Lummus Park
Celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary at this exciting event that will showcase the six branches of the U.S. Military and include a performance from the USAF Thunderbirds. The event is free. Looking to extend your stay, after the sun sets enjoy the Music Explosion featuring top musical acts.

5. Family Day at The Bass
When: April 26, 2 - 4 p.m.
Where: The Bass Museum of Art, 2100 Collins Ave.
Families with children of all ages are invited for an afternoon or art and exploration at the museum. Children can participate in hands-on activities at The Bass Creativity Center or take on a scavenger hunt using an explorer guide. Admission is free all day.

6. The Mid-Mods Home Tour
When: April 4th 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Where: Brockway Memorial Library, 10021 NE 2nd Ave, Miami Shores
The Mid-Mods will take you on a self-guided tour of Miami Shores Mid-Century Modern Gems. From iconic architecture to sleek designs the tour will span designs from the 1940s to 1970s. The tour will also include rare interior access at some homes. Get a view into MiMo (Miami Modern), indoor-outdoor living and climate design.
