All Aboard for Free Trolley Rides in Miami Beach

City launches new Middle Beach Loop this morning at ribbon-cutting ceremony

MIAMI BEACH, FL — Known for its trendy South Beach clubs and toney eateries, city officials are set to take the wraps off of an old-school trolley service later this morning — just in time to bring relief to weary holiday shoppers as well as the annual influx of snowbirds who traditionally flock here over the Thanksgiving holiday period.

Did we mention it's absolutely FREE?

“The Mid-Beach route joins the North Beach Trolley and Alton-West Loop to make it easier for residents to travel between North Shore and South Pointe,” explained City Manager Jimmy L. Morales. “We hope residents and visitors alike will take full advantage of this free, convenient mode to move around our urban-island.”
