Area Police Drop and Give 22 for Wounded Warriors
Gesture meant to raise awareness of veteran suicides.
MIAMI BEACH — Area police dropped down and gave veterans 22 pushups on Thursday to kick off the Wounded Warrior Project's annual Soldier Ride in South Florida
The gesture was intended to call attention to the problem of veteran suicides ahead of the ride from South Beach to Marlins Park.
