Body Of Decomposing Man Found In Miami Beach
The decomposing body was found along the Julia Tuttle Causeway.
MIAMI BEACH, FL — A construction worker discovered the body of a decomposing man on Monday morning in Miami Beach. The body was found along the Julia Tuttle Causeway in the eastbound direction. Police are attempting to determine what happened.
"Miami Beach officers are along the eastbound Julia Tuttle Causeway where a deceased male in an advanced stage of decomposition was located," Ernesto Rodriguez of the Miami Beach Police Department told Patch. "At approximately 9 a.m. a construction worker notified police of the discovered body."
Rodriguez said that crime scene investigators and detectives were on the scene and have opened an investigation.

Miami Beach police reported traffic congestion in the area and warned motorists to expect delays.
