From 8:30 to 10 PM, experience a majestic fireworks display set to live classical music on the shores of South Beach. The Ocean Drive Association in partnership with the City of Miami Beach and the Greater Miami Convention &amp; Visitors Bureau will host its annual Independence Day Fireworks &amp; Patriotic Concert on Ocean Drive and 12th Street, commencing with an orchestra performance by the Miami Beach Classical Music Festival at 8:30 p.m. The fireworks display will start at 9 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to make reservations at one of the many alfresco restaurants or bring their beach chairs, blankets and picnic fare.

WHO/WHAT: Daniel’s, A Florida Steakhouse and Alma Matcha, are excited to host Service &amp; Soul, a curated panel and workshop celebrating women shaping the hospitality industry. The event will take place at THRIVE Art District on Sunday, April 26 and will bring together owners, restaurateurs, operators and creatives for a thoughtful and inspiring experience centered around connection and community. Rooted in the belief that hospitality is built on care, creativity and resilience, Service &amp; Soul creates a space for women across the industry to share stories, exchange ideas and build meaningful relationships. The morning will consist of a panel conversation featuring influential women in hospitality, including Kassidy Angelo, Managing Director of Gioia Hospitality Group; Taymir &amp; Jessica, Co-Founders of Alma Matcha; Janessa Cuba, Co-Founder of Stacked Cookie Co, Gabriella Sanon, Marketing Director of INK Entertainment, and Alexandra Arguello, Founder of PORFA &amp; Playa Bowls.&nbsp; The event also includes curated experiences including a Daniel’s brunch bar with caviar, an Alma matcha and coffee counter,&nbsp; a Daniel’s x Alma matcha ice cream bar, professional headshots by The Media Standard, and interactive installations. The Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami (CCBM) under the artistic direction of Eriberto Jimenez, will present Le Corsaire Suite. This enchanting ballet is based on Lord Byron’s epic poem written in 1814, a romantic story of pirates, maidens, slave merchants, and pashas. 

The Suite is a compilation of the most beloved scenes from the full-length ballet, including:
Le Jardin Animé
Pas d’Esclave,
Grand Pas de Trois des Odalisques
Le Corsaire Pas de Deux
&amp; More

The first performance of Le Corsaire as a ballet was in 1837 at the King's Theatre in London, with choreography by François Albert and music by Nicholas Bochsa. The ballet was later reworked by Joseph Mazilier, whose version premiered in 1856 with music by Adolphe Adam at the Paris Opera, achieving unexpected success. In 1858, Jules Perrot adapted the story again, adding several new dances later on choreographer Marius Petipa created several versions between 1863 and 1899.
