MIAMI BEACH, FL — Hollywood hits Miami Beach this week with Matthew "alright, alright, alright" McConaughy and Snoop Dogg filming their new movie, "Beach Bum" around town. In addition to star power, the production will also bring traffic detours to the area through Saturday. Expect possible delays around Collins Avenue.
Here is the skinny on the traffic detours:
- Between now and 2 a.m. Friday, southbound Collins Avenue will be closed from 52 to 53 Streets due to filming. Traffic will be rerouted on northbound Collins Avenue.
- The westernmost single lane of Collins Avenue will be closed between 10 a.m. Friday to 2 a.m. Saturday.
