Miami Beach Police Detain Man With Gun On Trolley
A fight broke out 72 Street and Collins Avenue and then carried over into a city trolley
MIAMI BEACH, FL — Miami Beach police detained two men who were fighting on Friday morning and then boarded a city trolley. One of the men had a gun, according to the department's Ernesto Rodriguez. The incident took place at 72 Street and Collins Avenue.
"Please note the gun was not discharged," Rodriguez told Patch. "The fight began outside and then made its way into the trolley as officers arrived to secure the scene and the subjects."
The trolley was part of the free trolley service that is operated by the city.
