Miami beach Woman Killed By Van In South Beach
The incident happened around 9:45 a.m. Friday. Police said the driver remained at the scene.
MIAMI BEACH, FL — An elderly woman died on Friday after being struck by a van in South Beach. The incident happened around 9:45 a.m. Police said the driver remained at the scene.
"A white van was exiting a parking lot in the 700 block of Alton Road when it struck an elderly woman," Officer William Collado of the Miami Beach Police Department told Patch. "The woman died on the scene as a result of the injuries sustained from the collision."
Police did not identify the victim.

Collado added that the driver was cooperating with the investigation. No charges had been filed as of 7 p.m. Friday.
