Missing 61-Year-Old Woman in Miami Beach

MIAMI BEACH, FL — A 61-year-old woman went missing for a time from the Normandy Estates assisted living community on Friday. Ana Moron suffers from dementia and Alzheimer's. She was later located.

"Moron usually spends her day near the front gate asking for cigarettes from passers-by," Miami Beach police said in a police report. A nursing assistant discovered Moron missing at 3:15 p.m. when she brought her a snack. A search of the facility and the nearby area failed to turn up any leads.
