Police Need Help to Find Christmas Eve Hit and Run Driver
Boston student has undergone multiple surgeries following the South Beach incident.

MIAMI BEACH — Police are asking for the public's help in finding the driver of a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro convertible that struck a 24-year-old student in South Beach in the early morning hours of Christmas Eve.
The student was identified as Abhishek Tulsyan of the 800 block of Griggs Street in Boston.
"The victim has been in the hospital ever since and has had to undergo multiple surgeries for his injuries," Ernesto Rodriguez of the Miami Beach Police Department told Patch on Thursday.

Rodriguez said the Camaro is either black or dark blue. "The vehicle should have front-end passenger side damage," according to Rodriguez.

The video shows Tulsyan waiting by a Collins Avenue crosswalk for the light to change when the Camaro veered onto the sidewalk and struck him on his left side. The vehicle drove away on Collins Avenue without stopping.
Tulsyan was thrown four feet into a grassy area, according to the accident report, which said that the acccident occurred at 2:40 a.m. on Dec. 24.
