Free Take-Home COVID-19 Tests Available At 8 Miami-Dade County Libraries Friday
After giving out 152K take-home COVID-19 tests earlier this week, Miami-Dade County will hand out more testing kits at 8 libraries Friday.

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL — To close the COVID-19 testing gap from the recent surge in cases of the virus and testing demand, Miami-Dade County will offer take-home COVID-19 rapid tests available at eight libraries Friday.
The testing kits will be given out starting at 7:30 a.m. and are available while supplies last, the county said in a news release. There is a limit of two tests per household.
Just over 58,000 new cases were reported in Florida Thursday, breaking the state's record for the number of cases reported in a single day, according to data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. More than 250,000 cases were reported in the Sunshine State in the last seven days.
