Trolley Route Change Up For Discussion
Officials want to change the popular free trolley system to take riders from North Beach to South Beach with no more than 1 transfer.

MIAMI BEACH, FL — Officials are considering a change to the city's popular free trolley system to make it easier to travel between South Beach and North Beach. Such a change would require the Collins Link Trolley to be extended to the city boundary on 88 Street. The proposal will be discussed at a community meeting tonight from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.(Sign up for our free Daily Newsletters and Breaking News Alerts for the Miami Beach Patch.)
"The proposed change would extend the route to 88 Street so that no more than one transfer would be required to travel from North Beach to South Beach," according to city officials.

The meeting will take place at North Shore Park and Youth Center.
"This meeting will provide an opportunity for the public to learn more about these proposed changes and provide feedback," city officials added.
