Where to Score Free Sunscreen on Miami Beach

MIAMI BEACH, FL — If you already love Miami Beach, we found yet another reason to come back. The city has installed 50 free sunscreen dispensers throughout this urban resort town. As if anyone really needed another reason to check out the sizzling sands of Miami Beach.

"To be more specific, the exact product in the dispenser is MB Suncare’s SPF 30 MB Beach Triple Action Sea Kelp Sunscreen lotion — a light, non-greasy, quick absorbing product that is broad spectrum to protect from both UVA and UVB rays, and water resistant for up to 80 minutes," the city's Melissa Berthier told Patch.

"The sea kelp offers unique benefits of helping to restore proteins and minerals lost in the sun, firming the appearance of the skin and helping protect against photo-aging with its natural sunscreen properties," Berthier added.

The program has already earned high praise from former Vice President Joe Biden. The city recently extended the free dispensers for five years thanks to support from Mount Sinai Medical Center and the manufacturer of MB Suncare, Destination Brands.
