Toddler, Mom Reunited In Miami Beach
Police have found the mother of a toddler who was wandering by himself along Miami Beach.
MIAMI BEACH, FL — A mother was reunited with her toddler on Tuesday after Miami Beach police found the child on Tuesday. The child was wandering along Miami Beach. Police said no charges have been filed.
"This young boy was discovered wandering near 27 Street/Sheridan Avenue," Miami Beach police said on social media early Tuesday afternoon. (Sign up for our free Daily Newsletters and Breaking News Alerts for the Miami Beach Patch.)
Ernesto Rodriguez of the Miami Beach Police Department told Patch that the child was found just before 12:15 p.m. The mother contacted police after multiple news organizations, including Patch, issued alerts.

"After an interview with the parent it was determined intentional neglect was not evident," Rodriguez said. "The child and mother were driven back home by detectives."

"Miami Beach PD has located the mother of the young boy and reunited them," police said. "No charges will be filed at this time."
