Port Richey Stabbing Victims Identified

The Pasco County Sheriff's Office has confirmed it has a suspect in custody and that one person died after the Thursday morning incident.

PORT RICHEY, FL — The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office has reported that a suspect is in custody following a fatal Thursday morning stabbing in Port Richey and that one person has died as a result of the incident.

Initial reports from the agency indicate a call about the stabbing came in at 11:20 a.m. A man and woman were stabbed inside the home at 9209 Binnacle Drive in the Park Place Apartments, the agency reported. The call launched a hunt for the suspect that included K9 and aviation units.

The male victim, the sheriff's office reported later, died at the scene. The female victim is being treated. The extent of her injuries is unknown.

The sheriff's office has identified the male victim as Kenneth Cameron Martiszus, 29. The woman stabbed has been identified as Asia Spencer, 22. She is in stable condition, the sheriff's office reported.

The suspect has yet to be identified pending formal charges.
