2-Year-Old Involved In Near Drowning In New Port Richey
The boy was being airlifted to a Tampa hospital following the Wednesday evening near drowning.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — Pasco County Fire Rescue responded to a near drowning call in New Port Richey Wednesday evening.
According to the agency, the call came in from 9235 Yellow Lake Drive just after 7 p.m. A 2-year-old boy was found in a pond near the home, an email from county spokesman Doug Tobin said.
“Fire Rescue paramedics arrived on scene and started to perform life saving measures,” Tobin wrote. “Fire rescue is expected to transport the boy to a Tampa area hospital via Bayflight.”
