26-Year-Old NPR Pedestrian Killed By Hit-And-Run Driver
The Florida Highway Patrol is searching for the vehicle involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian in New Port Richey.
NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — The Florida Highway Patrol is searching for the vehicle involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian in New Port Richey.
At 1 a.m. Saturday, 26-year-old Anthony Talotta of New Port Richey was walking north on the shoulder of Little Road near Heritage Lakes Boulevard when he attempted to cross the road and was struck by a northbound Toyota, which fled the scene.
Tarlotta was pronounced dead at the scene.

FHP Troopers believe the vehicle is a 2001-04 silver, white or light gray Toyota Tacoma pickup truck.
