3 Injured in Hit-And-Run, Rollover Crash

The motorist troopers say is to blame took off after the collision.

The Florida Highway Patrol is looking for help identifying a motorist it says caused a Wednesday morning crash that left three Holiday residents injured.

According to the agency, the wreck happened on northbound U.S. 19, north of State Road 54, around 10:47 a.m. Troopers say a Hyundai Sonata was heading north in the inside lane at the time. When that vehicle’s driver decided to change into the center lane, the car’s right rear struck the front left of a Chevrolet Blazer driven by Derrick Sullivan, 22, of Holiday.

Sullivan, a highway patrol report said, lost control of the Blazer, which then rotated and overturned multiple times. Sullivan and his two passengers were thrown from the vehicle.
