3 Kids Sustain Minor Injuries When School Bus Collides With Car
Three school children were taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries Wednesday morning when a school bus collided with a car.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL -- Three school children were taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries Wednesday morning when a school bus collided with a car in New Port Richey.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Melissa Nichols, 54, of New Port Richey was driving a school bus filled with 33 children east on Massachusetts Avenue at 9:23 a.m.
A Ford Focus driven by Kaitlyn Glass, 25, of New Port Richey was stopped in traffic on Massachusetts Avenue just west of Little Road when the bus struck the car from behind.

A passenger in Glass' car, 8-year-old Jeffrey Collier of Port Richey, was taken to Trinity Medical Center to be treated for minor injuries.
Two of the children on the bus were taken to Morton Plant North Bay Hospital to be treated for minor injuries as well.
