4 People Seriously Injured In Crash That Shut Down U.S. 41

Pasco County Fire Rescue had to extricate two people from vehicles Sunday after a serious accident on U.S. 41 just south of State Road 54.

PASCO COUNTY, FL -- Pasco County Fire Rescue had to extricate two people from vehicles Sunday after a serious accident on U.S. 41 just south of State Road 54.

Pasco Fire Rescue public information officer Corey Dierdorff said four people were seriously injured in the crash that shut down portions of U.S. 41.

Two medical helicopters were needed to airlift the two extricated people to nearby trauma centers. The other two people injured were transported by ambulance.
