• Man runs from Tampa crash after high-speed chase through school zones: FHP (wfla.com) — A man from New Port Richey was arrested after troopers say he sped down the Veterans Expressway, then continued onto Gunn Highway through multiple school zones before crashing into another car in Hillsborough County. He allegedly ran from the scene but was caught in a nearby parking lot. He now faces charges including fleeing police, leaving a crash scene, and driving with a suspended license.
