NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — A developer has broken ground on Aventon Eva, a 270-unit apartment community, in New Port Richey.
The property will rise on nearly 14 acres near the intersection of Little Road and Decubellis Road, Aventon Companies said in a news release.
The company said leasing is expected to begin in July 2027.
The new community will offer one-, two- and three-bedroom apartment floorplans in three-story garden-style buildings.
Aventon Companies said the site is about three miles from U.S. Highway 19 and is positioned to offer access to Tampa, Clearwater and St. Petersburg. The project is also eight miles from the new Moffitt Cancer Center Speros Campus.
The developer linked the project to continued growth in the Tampa Bay region, which added more than 14,000 jobs over the past year.
Aventon Era, its third property in the region, is being built near expanding employment centers, as the Speros Campus is expected to generate more than 45,000 new jobs, the developer said.
“Tampa is one of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in the U.S., yet there remains a need for high-quality, thoughtfully designed apartment housing,” Tom Suminski, senior managing director of Aventon Companies, said. “Aventon Eva offers residents the opportunity to live at the center of this growth, with convenient access to employment, amenities, and the region’s top destinations.”
Aventon Eva was designed by Cormia Design, with interiors by Studio 5 Interiors. The community will emphasize indoor-outdoor living and modern convenience, the developer said.
Planned amenities include a resort-style pool, a clubhouse with remote workspaces, a pet spa and a 24/7 fitness center, according to the announcement.
