SPRING HILL, FL — Aldi will open its second Spring Hill location next week, bringing another grocery option for shoppers in the area.
The new store, converted from a Winn-Dixie, at 4221 Mariner Blvd., will hold a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8:45 a.m. on Thursday, according to a news release from the company.
As part of the grand-opening celebration, the first 200 customers will receive a gift bag containing samples of Aldi-exclusive products and a gift card through the company's Golden Ticket giveaway program.
Matt Thon, Aldi's regional vice president, said the new location is intended to give Spring Hill shoppers another way to save on their weekly grocery trips.
"At our new Spring Hill Aldi store, customers will see why so many already choose ALDI for their weekly grocery shopping," he said in a statement. "As shoppers look to stretch their dollar further, we're excited to open this new location and bring more people a high-quality grocery selection they want and need at the lowest possible price."
The newly converted store will carry fresh produce, organic options, meats, seafood, cheese and other groceries, along with Aldi's exclusive brands. The company said nearly 90 percent of the products it sells are exclusive brands.
The store also will feature Aldi Finds, the retailer's rotating selection of limited-time food, household, seasonal and other merchandise.

The Spring Hill opening is part of Aldi's ongoing U.S. expansion. This latest location brings the brand closer to its goal of operating 3,200 stores nationwide by the end of 2028, the news release said.
