Arrest Made In Fatal Port Richey Stabbing
A 24-year-old Gill Dawg's cook was charged in the Thursday incident that left one person dead and another injured.

PORT RICHEY, FL — The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office has charged a 24-year-old Port Richey man with premeditated murder and attempted premeditated murder following a Thursday stabbing.
According to the agency, Andrew Travis Sims went to the apartment at 9209 Binnacle Drive No. 3312 around 11 a.m. Thursday and found Kenneth Cameron Martiszus, 29, Asia Spencer, 22, on the front porch. Sims, an arrest report stated, asked to use the phone. As Spencer let Sims into the apartment to use the phone, Martiszus went to take a shower, the report said.
While Martiszus was in the shower and Sims was using the phone, Spencer told deputies she went into the kitchen to grab a drink. That, according to the report, is when Sims attacked her, pulling out a knife, slashing her neck and stabbing her stomach.

Spencer said Sims then ran to the bathroom and began attacking Martiszus, the report said. Spencer fled the home and went to a neighbor’s for help calling 911.
After placing that call, Spencer and the neighbor went back to the apartment and reportedly saw Sims and Martiszus struggling. Sims then ran from the scene and Martiszus tried to follow him, but fell to the grass, the report said.

The witness began video recording Martiszus at that point, the report noted, and asked him who the man was that attacked him. Spencer could be heard yelling on the video that, “It was Drew, his name is Andrew,” the report said.
Martiszus was pronounced dead at the scene. Spencer was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Deputies say Spencer positively identified Sims from a photo. He was brought into custody at his home shortly after the stabbing occurred.
Spencer and Sims, the report noted, knew each other through work and “illegal drug sales.”
Sims’ occupation was listed as a cook at Gill Dawg on the arrest report. He was booked into the Pasco County Jail in Land O’ Lakes Thursday.
