The Progress Energy Heart Gallery of Pinellas and Pasco exhibits photos of foster children.
The faces of youths in foster care greeted visitors to the Alric C.T. Pottberg Library at the on Thursday night.
It was the opening reception of the Progress Energy Heart Gallery of Pinellas and Pasco's exhibition at PHCC, and pictures of the children and teenagers looking for permanent homes decorated the walls inside the building.
The gallery, started in 2006, promotes adoption of children in the Pasco and Pinellas foster care system, which currently contains roughly 3,100 youth . It will run until April 9.
