Body Found Offshore of Pasco

The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office and state Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officers are investigating the discovery of a body in Gulf waters offshore from Hudson Tuesday afternoon.

According to the sheriff’s office, a call came in from the U.S. Coast Guard around 2:16 p.m. A boater notified that agency after coming across the body about three miles out in the Gulf.

Few details are available at this time, including the person’s gender and whether or not the death was accidental or related to foul play.
