Boil Water Notice Issued in Port Richey

PORT RICHEY, FL — Residents of Port Richey’s Westport neighborhood are being asked to boil their water as a precaution following a Tuesday water main break.

According to the city, residents of Westport should bring all consumable water to a rolling boil for at least a minute before using it. The boil water notice will remain active until water samples pass bacteriological testing.

The city will issue a notice rescinding the boil water notice once samples are deemed clear. Residents with questions may call the city’s utility department with questions at 727-816-1900, Ext. 2.
