Child Porn Possession Charges Filed Against 2 Pasco Men: FDLE

Two Pasco County men were charged with possession of child sexual abuse material, the FL Department of Law Enforcement said.

PASCO COUNTY, FL — Michael Robert Ambrosio, 49, of New Port Richey and Robert Allen Cale, 35, of Port Richey were arrested on charges of possession of child sexual abuse material and promoting the sexual performance of a child, according to a Florida Department of Law Enforcement news release.

Authorities began investigating the two men when FDLE Tampa Bay and Brooksville Field Office agents identified hundreds of electronic files containing the sexual abuse of children being downloaded online.

Two IP addresses were identified with downloads totaling more than 400 files of child sexual abuse materials, FDLE said. Those IP addresses were identified and linked to the addresses of Ambrosio and Cale, who live within four miles of one another.
