City Announces Water System Flushing
On Monday, February 27, the City of Port Richey will begin an Annual Water Distribution Flushing Program.

On Monday, February 27th 2017, The City of Port Richey will begin an Annual Water Distribution Flushing Program.

The program will rotate from area to area, in a systematic manner.
From 9 A.M. to approximately 5 P.M. City Crews will be dispatched to specific locations where Fire Hydrants will be utilized to flush our Water Distribution System.

There should be no disruption of service; however a possible by-product of the process may result in a temporary discoloration of the water.
We recommend that during the flushing work being done in your area, customers refrain from laundering clothes.
The entire flushing program will last approximately 1 week.
