College Night Forum Set for Pasco Students

Students from across the county are invited to attend to learn more about colleges and universities in Florida.

Pasco County 11th graders might want to mark their calendars for March 2.

That’s the day that Wesley Chapel High School plans to stage its annual College Night. The event runs from 6 to 8 p.m. in the 30651 Wells Road school’s gymnasium. Students from all over the county are invited to attend to learn more about majors, sports, special programs, admission programs, financial aid and more. While the program is geared to all high school students, district officials note that it is especially important for 11th-graders to begin making plans for life after high school.

The Pasco County school district anticipates a number of major colleges and universities from all over the state to have representatives in attendance. Some of the school’s that will be represented include Pasco-Hernando State College, the University of South Florida, University of Florida, Florida State University and University of Central Florida. U.S. military representatives from such branches as the Army and Air Force are also scheduled to appear.
