Deputies: Man Meant to Hit Pregnant Woman With Car
He's been charged with attempted murder after fleeing the scene.
A 33-year-old Holiday man faces attempted murder charges after Pasco County deputies say he struck his pregnant girlfriend with a Dodge Charger Monday and left her on the side of the road.
The incident unfolded Monday afternoon as a 7-month pregnant woman, Crystal Noordhuizen, 32, and her boyfriend, Justin Colby got into an argument. Noordhuizen left her home to avoid a confrontation, a probable cause affidavit in the case stated.
As she began to walk east on Westwood Drive to wait for a ride, the affidavit states Colby called her and asked, “Are you ready for an abortion date?”

A short time later, Colby is accused of driving his Dodge Charger off Westwood Drive to strike Noordhuizen. Colby then got out of the vehicle, walked home and took off from there on a white motorcycle.
Noordhuizen was taken to Bayonet Point Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries while a search for Colby was launched.
