HUDSON, FL -- Pasco County Sheriff's deputies have arrested a 45-year-old Hudson woman after she was found sleeping in an SUV stopped in the middle of the road with a child in the back seat.

On Dec. 29 at 12:50 a.m., a deputy spotted a Land Rover sitting still in the middle of County Line Road near Grand Club Drive with turn signal on. When the deputy checked on the stopped vehicle, he found Liba Hucko of Briar Circle asleep at the wheel with a 7-year-old child in the back seat.

The deputy awoke Hucko, who works as a substitute teacher, and noticed signs of impairment including glassy eyes, slurred speech and the strong odor of alcohol on her breath. She was taken to the hospital where she became belligerent with deputies and hospital staff.
