Do You Know This Horse’s Owner?
The Pasco County Sheriff's Office found the gelding wandering in the Moon Lake area early Tuesday morning.

New Port Richey, FL — The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a little help identifying the owner or owners of a horse found wandering in the Moon Lake area early Tuesday morning.
According to the agency, deputies were dispatched to the 1300 block of Davista Avenue around 3:30 a.m. after receiving reports of a wandering horse. When they arrived, they found a chestnut gelding handing out in the neighborhood.
The horse has a white marking on its right rear left, described as a half sock. It was found wearing a blue halter, but had no other identifiers on it, the agency noted on Facebook.

Deputies are asking anyone with information on the animal’s owner to call 1-800-706-2488.
