Drug Busts Takes 435,000 Doses Of Fentanyl Off the Streets

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — A Pasco County Sheriff's drug operation has taken 435,000 doses of lethal fentanyl off the streets of Pasco County, officials say.

The crackdown included the arrest of four people on charges including trafficking fentanyl, possession of cocaine with intent to sell, felon in possession of a firearm, trafficking in cocaine, trafficking in ecstasy and possession of methamphetamines with intent to distribute.

Sheriff Chris Nocco launched the operation following a recent spike in drug overdoses in Pasco County. In May and June, the sheriff's office responded to 258 overdose calls, 55 of which were fatal.

Arrested during the operation were Adrian Deon Golden Jr., 27, of Trinity; Denaye Kamiya Davis, 24, of Largo; James L. Hudson, 43, of Tarpon Springs; and Kenneth Harris Frazier Jr., 42, of Dade City, according to the sheriff's office.
