Our River of Threads-West Pasco Quilters' Guild

Open Reception for:OUR RIVER OF THREADS by the West Pasco Quilters GuildOn Exhibit August 3rd -31st   What do rivers and  quilting have in common? They have both been  bringing people together and helping meet common needs for many  years. "Our River of Threads" is based on the same goal of  bringing people together. Our river starts with a spring and travels around the  state to many locations. Each small quilt is made by a different person and it  depicts an individual vision of their river. Combining all the quilts creates a  single river and that flows in harmony, much like the quilters around our world.  We all have individual visions of what quilting is or should be yet we all flow  in harmony. Please enjoy your  journey as you travel "Our River of Threads" from the spring head waters to the  Gulf of Mexico. While at The Progress  Energy Art Gallery, please visit our "Mini Summer Boutique" for a sampling of  our many other talents for sale. Also on Exhibit: Artwork from PEAG's Creative KidZone Summer Class, students of Trish McMahan. With thanks to our event partners: Sweetbay Supermarket 6500 Massachusetts Ave. NPR.

There is a Beautiful WPQG Charity Quilt for the RAP House in the Gallery. Tickets available. All proceeds to benefit the RAP House NPR.
