April is National Poetry Month, and to celebrate Progress Energy Art Gallery is holding its Fifth Annual Poetry Contest. Judges to be announced. A First, Second and Third place winner will be chosen, as well as any Honorable Mentions at the judges’ discretion. Cash prizes and Gallery Memberships will be awarded. All winners will receive a signed certificate suitable for framing, and the winning poems will be published on the PEAG website. The First Place winning poem will be framed and placed on the gallery’s Poet’s Wall alongside the prior contests winning poems.
