To honor of April as National Poetry Month, we are pleased to announce a feature award winning poet, Amarilys Gacio Rassler, who will read from her latest chapbook, Cuban-American Dancing on the Hyphen. Amarilys reads with a lyrical voice that will transport the listener with humor and tender memories of the family and Cuba that she left behind, and a celebration of America, she now calls home. One does not have lived in Cuba to relate to her poetry and prose, so we invite everyone to come and enjoy the dance on the hyphen! Open mic to follow.
Chapbook available for purchase and signing.
